Jobs...

This administration keeps telling us about creating jobs for the mass of unemployed.
The only jobs that they can "create" are government jobs; and that's by expanding the government.
Jobs are created by businessmen, companies and corporations...not the government.
As of this posting, there are over three million (3,000,000+) job openings in the private and public sector.   Most of these jobs have specific requirements.   The problem is that there aren't enough qualified workers to fill these jobs.
Since this most recent generation has chosen to either go to college or drop out, the qualified labor pool has drastically shrunk.   A major complaint from H.R. at many companies is that even the college graduates have poor or no communication or math skills.   Their resumes are filled with grammar and spelling errors as well emphasizing nonsense about themselves.   As far as passing a basic arithmetic test, the majority fail in this area also.
In addition, so few of these applicants have trained in any of the labor or production arts.
I remember when I was teaching Film & TV at a Community College, all the students wanted to be producers or directors.   No one wanted to be a stage manager, a camera operator, a lighting director, etc.
Now we see our colleges filled with students majoring in "hobbies" such as Theater Arts, Women's Issues, Music Appreciation, etc.   Yes, some are studying Law and Engineering, but they are a small fraction of most student bodies.   Regardless, more than half of the college graduates in recent years, have difficulty with simple addition or multiplication as well as written and verbal communication.
Now we are faced with a shortage of people to work in our factories, our companies and our local businesses.   For many of these jobs, it could take a year or two to become proficient.   Employers are not willing to operate as a school to train people, put in an investment of time and money to train someone to only see them leave for another job.
As far as the "dumbing down of America", the fault lies in several places.
The first being the family itself.   Fewer parents put in any time, effort or interest in their children's education on a daily basis.
Second is the teachers themselves.   There are highly qualified teachers in the school system; however the system is filled with unqualified teachers, kept on because of the power of the Teacher's Unions.
Third is the student themselves.   They are so distracted with all of the technology available that there is less time in their lives to actually pursue an education.    They would rather play video games, tweet, text, blog, etc.
And of course, let's not forget the dropouts.   These are not necessarily dumb kids; they've just never been motivated or inspired.
So, there you have it.   Lottsa jobs, lottsa unemployed, lottsa unqualified workers.   Even with a solution, it could take another generation to solve this problem.

Grateful Red Cross...

The Red Cross is very grateful for the $117 million donated to them to be used for the victims of hurricane Sandy.
However, there's a problem with these donations being solicited on every TV channel and by well known personalities including President Obama and N. J. Gov. Chris Christie.   We all have a soft spot in our heats and have sent money to the Red Cross because of these pleas.
So far, the only thing that the Red Cross has done for these victims is to send out lunch trucks with sandwiches.   Well, that's nice but where is the rest of the money ???
Remember hurricane Katrina ?   Of the hundreds of millions of dollars donated for that disaster, only 4 cents of every donated dollar was used.
The Red Cross is claiming that 91 cents of every dollar is being used for Sandy victims.   That's an outright lie.
I remember, from my own experience many years ago, at the site of a military plane crash, the Salvation Army was there immediately, giving out sandwiches and coffee, helping clean up rubble, and providing transportation to nearby hospitals.   The Red Cross had a van there and were selling coffee and donuts.   That's when I decided to NEVER give the Red Cross one cent ever...
They (Red Cross) have a sweet deal.   The top earners on their staff get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to "push paper" while most Red Cross workers are unpaid volunteers.
I'm not asking you to not donate; I'm saying that there are more ethical organizations to donate to, such as The Salvation Army, your church or charities that you're more than familiar with.
What I as saying is that you're throwing away your money by giving it to the Red Cross.

FREEDOMS GOING, GOING, GONE

Within hours after he was declared to be re-elected, President Obama signed the U.N. Arms Ban Mandate.   This automatically voids the 2nd Amendment.
When is the NRA going to start screaming about this ?
Obama has been trying to legislate gun control and this is how he is able to do it.   Obviously he was right when he said, "The Constitution is getting in my way...".
How many more articles in our Constitution is he going to violate or bypass ?
Why hasn't this been in the press ?
There is already talk about Obama being our LAST President.
I don't know about you, but I'm scared about what he's doing to disassemble this country.
Re-elected or not, he must be removed from office before he completes his deal with Russia and China.
This is not doom & gloom or conspiracy theory.   Obama is intentionally bringing down the United States.   I am starting to believe those that say that he's acting as an agent of foreign interests.
We all know by now that he's a confirmed socialist and heavily schooled in communism.   So why were we so stupid to leave him in power ?
The press doesn't let you know of all the Executive Orders that he's issued in his first four years that have crippled growth and prosperity in this country because the press is controlled by this administration.
If you ever believed in EVIL...the time is now and he is it !!!

Who does Obama blame now...Congress of course.

Now that we're through with spending hundreds of millions of dollars on an election, we see that nothing has changed.   The Senate is still run by the Democrats, the House is still run by the Republicans, and we still have the same President and Vice President.   What waste of time and money.
The real losers are us.   With Obama being re-elected, there is no chance of ObamaCare going away.
This presents a huge problem.  

A friend of mine called me to ask what he should do.   His Mother's primary care physician informed here that he is closing his practice by the end of the year and she would have to find another doctor.   She called over twenty doctors in her area and was told, in every case that they either were shutting down their practice or not taking any new patients on Medicare.
After hearing this, I called two of my doctors.   My cardiac doctor has already left medicine and went into engineering and my Pulmonary doctor is considering retiring.
Worse than that is we will soon have a M.D. shortage and you will be on a waiting list to see a doctor.
My primary care physician is solving this problem by only seeing patients that pay cash...no Medicare, no insurance, no nuthin'...cash only.
Several hospitals have foreseen this problem and are setting up "teaching facilities" to train Medical Care Specialists to fill in for licensed M.D.s.  
Some believe that this is a plot to reduce the number of people on Social Security by having them denied the medical attention that they need.   Then, Obama can say that he saved Social Security.

JOBS...

It looks like we've come to the end of an era.
In the past, we were able to get full time jobs with pension plans and medical insurance.
With ObamaCare, employers are forced to either buy the more expensive insurance for their employees or face large fines.   This only applies to full time workers.
A solution to this problem is that more companies and businesses are only hiring part time workers, where they don't have to supply medical insurance and face no penalty.   In addition, the employee doesn't qualify for a pension plan either.
This saves every business and company large amounts of money.
I guess that I've been wrong......Obama really is for the business community as well as fixing the unemployment problem.   It takes twice as many part time workers to do the job now.   This means that soon, everyone will have a job even though they're earning less and have no benefits.
What a clever President we have.   We now have medical coverage and lottsa jobs........

Your Congress

These past four years have seen a Congress that has the lowest approval in the history of the United States.   The reasons for this is that most Senators and Representatives are more interested in:
(1) Voting with their party
(2) Being re-elected
(3) Guaranteeing their financial future
Lobbyists have promised them all kinds of perks to vote for their individual agendas.
Corporations lavish them with things like free college education for their kids, expensive vacations, consulting jobs when they leave Congress, forgivable loans to buy mansions, and the list goes on...
Wall Street just about "owns" Congress.   All of the "controls" that were put in place after the crash, are all but extinct by now.
People say that the system is broken...I say that the system is fixed (rigged).
Ask yourself, why does someone spend more money to be elected to Congress than the job pays ?
The answer is that it's the easiest way to become a multimillionaire without having to work for it.
By a consensus at the U.N., the United States is listed as having the fifth most corrupt government amongst all nations.
What can be done about this ?   Stop listening to their excuses and blaming the other guy.   It's your fault....you keep electing them, over and over again.   I recommend that part of the solution to this problem is within your power............vote out all incumbents and those that voted for legislation that was against what the majority of the country wanted.   As an example:   Over 74% of the country was against ObamaCare, yet it was shoved down our throats with Pelosi telling us that after it becomes law, we'll then find out what's in it.
I repeat; VOTE OUT THOSE BASTARDS.    Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are extremely dangerous and do not have your interests (or the country's) at heart.   They are only concerned with having power and wealth.
Yes, you can help repair the damage that's been done to the system that made America great.   Your vote is the final decision as to this continuing or not.   You are ultimately the responsible party.

Unfortunately, this is the last chance that I have to ask you to vote with your mind (not your heart or for some ridiculous reason).   Tomorrow is your chance to bring back America as a world leader.
After hearing all the political advertising with its half truths and outright lies, I've decided to not believe any of it.

Vote out the people that have voted your rights away.

Vote out the career politicians.

Vote out the liberals.

Vote out the socialists.

Vote out the communists.

Vote out the President that has failed us.

Vote out the people that have imposed regulations that stifle our growth.

Vote out those that are determined to reduce us from being number one.

Vote out the people that want to take away your freedoms.

Vote out anyone that has gone against our Constitution (like the President).

Vote out the people that are going to raise our taxes.

Vote out the people that want to reduce our military power.

Vote out the people that want to control your right to protect yourself.

Vote out the people that want to tell women what to do with their bodies.

Vote out the people that want to give the money and assets to those that didn't earn them.

Vote out the people that refuse to enforce our laws (illegal immigration as an example).

Vote out the people that espouse political correctness.

Vote out the people that want to keep us from being energy independent.

Vote out the people that keep raising our debt.

Vote out the people that have voted for special interests at your expense.

Vote out any Representative or Senator that has voted against your interests.

Vote out everyone that voted to control your health care.

Vote out all incumbents.

Vote out anyone that has divided us economically, racially and religiously.

Do vote for all business people that understand how to run corporations (and a country).
Do vote for a complete change in our leadership.
Do vote for those that want to make America great again.
Vote FOR AMERICA before its too late..........

An unpopular truth..........

Having spent an enormous amount of time at a University campus that has a student enrollment of over 50,000 students, and speaking with registered voters between 18 and 20 that voted in the last election and will vote in this one, a shocking revelation has come to light.

The main question asked was, "Who did you vote for in the last election and why"?
The largest number of answers were as follows:
"I voted for Obama because my girlfriend voted for him"
"I voted for Obama because he promised Hope & Change"
"I voted for Obama because he's black"
"I don't know...everyone else was voting for him"
"My parents told me to vote for him"
Most of these under 21's were either totally unknowledgeable about the person or the issues that they voted for.   Very few could state a reason that dealt with any issues.

When asked, "Who are you voting for this time and why"?
The majority of answers weren't any more practical.   The majority were as follows:
"Obama, because he's black"
"Obama, because he's going to get my student loan forgiven"
"Obama, because he's keeping my on my parents health insurance for a long time"
"Obama, because he got us free telephones"

The message that I got from all of these "well meaning and sincere" voters was that when our forefathers wrote the Constitution, they understood about the immaturity of voters below the age of 21.   Then in July 1971, the 26th Amendment was ratified, lowering the voting age from 21 to 18.
I understand all of the emotional arguments in favor of this; however, it has spawned a voting block that is ignorant and uneducated about what they're voting for.   Of course there are exceptions that are well read and versed in order to make an intelligent decision regarding their vote.   But these exceptions are few.

The 26th Amendment must be repealed as it allows for an immature group to be conned due to their own ignorance.
