Liesure time

I'm so happy that our President is setting a good example for all of those that have become unemployed during his time in office. Rather than being in the White House, doing the job that we elected him to do, he prefers to play basketball, play golf (24 rounds in 9 months), throw parties, campaign for Congressmen in other states, etc.
At least he is being empathetic by not working, to be seen as "one of the people".
After all, he is a celebrity...every picture you see of him is either he alone or with his family, enjoying themselves (at our expense).
Being that Obama is not doing his job and is rarely in the White House; why don't we close it up and thus save millions of dollars which can be put toward paying down our debt ?
You hardly ever see him in his office or meeting with the people really running this country.
Of course, we can't mention his wife's extravagance in shopping sprees and elaborate parties that she throws. I guess she's helping the economy by all this wasteful spending of our tax dollars.
It has occurred to me that he already is tired of running this country and has his sights on running the world by being elected to being "Supreme Leader" of the U.N.
Obviously, after all the times that I've asked you to do something to stop him, you've chosen to do nothing. You therefore can't complain when your taxes go up, your opportunities go away, your freedoms disappear and your country becomes impoverished.
Every member of our government (from local to federal) must be voted out of office before they can bring us to the point of revolution.
The only real thing that has been done by this administration is the separation of the political parties, the races and the minimizing of the middle class.
The big issues are:
The war in the Middle East - either win it or get out.
Illegal aliens - enforce our laws or make Spanish our national language.
Health care reform - our health care is fine, health insurance is what needs reform.
Unemployment - get out of our business and let the public sector recover itself.
National security - build and use the most powerful military on the planet.
Global warming - it's happening anyway, nothing you can do to stop it...it's part of nature.
Our debt - pay it down instead of giving away money in foreign aid and to special interest groups (like ACORN).
The Constitution - honor it and stop violating it.
In between his (Obama) non-Presidential time, he is ruining everything that we have worked for. Those that still support this administration deserve what they get....unemployment, loss of freedom, poverty, gov't. dictating how you will live and a civil war.
The damage is still reversible, but not for much longer. Do something about it TODAY or give up everything you have.

What you're worth ???

What nonsense; the "Pay Czar" Has decided that the top executives of the companies that received TARP money be given a 90% pay cut, and not to exceed $500,000/ yr. salary.
I know, you don't think anyone is worth that kind of money. You've been conditioned to resent anyone making more than you.
First of all, what's it your business what anyone gets paid.
Second, everyone gets paid what their employer thinks they're worth. If you think that you're worth more than you're paid now; ask your boss for a raise or go get a job where they'll pay you what you "think" that you're worth.
The other argument is that the gov't. has the right to dictate salaries to companies that they loaned money to. Normally, that might be true except for the fact that none of these companies asked for that money and some of them didn't even need it. They were FORCED to take it and when some of them tried to immediately tried to give it back, they were denied that privilege.
The bottom line is that the Obama administration is attacking every level of our freedoms. This President and his Democratic Congress are power hungry.
By the way, who is running our country ? Since Obama is always running around traveling to wherever he can get another photo op, our country is in the hands of incompetents that have no experience at running a business let alone a country.
During the entire eight years of the Bush administration, our debt increased 8.2% (gov't. figures).
Now, after only nine months, the present administration has run our debt up another 19.4%.
Is it any wonder, with the printing presses running full time to crank out worthless dollars that the rest of the world no longer wants our dollars ? It's just a matter of time until Europe and the oil producing countries will no longer accept U.S. currency. The only way out of this is rampant inflation and a massive recession. Then it will be followed by a revolution. Several states are trying to figure out how to disassociate themselves from the United States. Alaska and Texas have the right to secede from the "union" and are already printing their own money and forming a pseudo gov't. ready to step in should they secede.
Are you still too blind (or stupid) to still believe anything that Obama says ? If you still are supporting this administration, then either you're a non-producer or just dumb.

Great news

I'm so proud that my President has won the Nobel Peace Prize for his body of work to promote peace throughout the world.
Interestingly, on the same day that he has won this acknowledgement, he is gathering his Generals to determine our WAR STRATEGY. Fortunately, he doesn't have to share this prize with the other nominees that have devoted their lives to promoting world peace.
What I don't understand is; the cutoff date for nominations to the Nobel Prize Committee was Feb. 1st, 2009. Obama was in office as our President for only 10 days when he was nominated for the prize.
Well, so much for the prestige and credibility of this award.
What's next for King Obama ? A Heisman Trophy ? An Academy Award ? Sainthood in the Catholic Church ?
Why don't we just declare him either God or Supreme Ruler of the Universe and get all of this over with...

A solution...

In my lifetime, never have so many people been concerned and/ or involved in an upcoming piece of legislation as this "Healthcare Reform" bill that is being proposed for Congress to lay upon us.
The controversy extends from very practical suggestions to the extremely absurd. Every day, several of the proposals are being changed, modified or eliminated...thus leaving all of us not knowing exactly what is in this bill.
To make matters worse, it will be voted on by those in Congress that haven't even read any (or most) of it and are relying on "what they've been told".
My solution to the overall problem is this:
Since we are supposed to be a Democracy and this bill affects every American in pocket, body and mind; why not put it on next November's ballot and let the PEOPLE vote on whether or not they want it put into law.
This also gives Congress additional time to draft a bill that will be completed (after all changes).
Since the bill will not become law until 2012, there isn't a rush to shove it down our throats, so having it on the ballot next November still gives us ample time to vote for or against it. This also gives everyone the time to know exactly what is in it and a choice to vote for or against it.
In addition, by allowing the citizens of this country to vote on this issue, it takes some of the responsibility for its success (or failure) away from our representatives...

Another failure...

Well, it looks like Obama has just scored another failure as President of the United States of America.
The Congress that he has terrified and manipulated reversed the increase in Medicare that he called for (while he was away on non-gov't. business).
Now his pathetic bid to the International Olympic Committee, where he told them that nothing would make him happier than to be able to walk out of his door (in Chicago) and be in the middle of the Olympic Games. The Olypmic Committee laughed at him and his plea was immediately rejected (in the very first round of bidding). They told him that the Olympics is "not about him, it's about the games".
This is just another failure of his...
He has not improved our economy
He has not stopped the increase in jobs lost
He has not brought Congress together
He has not gotten his way on healthcare
...and I could go on and on regarding how ineffective he really is as our President.
I suppose that he'll return to this country to make more speeches including blaming the Olympic Committee for being "racist" because it was him, his wife and Oprah representing the U.S.A. (all "African-Americans"). So now, all of his Chicago "buddies" won't be able to sell their slums at inflated prices to be torn down for an Olympic Village.
Now we're seeing even more clearly why he stays away from the White House...because he can't do the job. This way he can say that he's not responsible for the country "going down the drain"; because others did it, not him.
More people, every day are saying that they were fooled into voting for him. That they didn't realize what a fraud he really is.
Obama MUST be recalled and someone (that knows how to run a country) be put in his place.
